Global Petroleum Limited is an ASX and AIM listed exploration and development group focusing on the petroleum sector with interests in projects in offshore Namibia, Juan de Nova, the United States and Uganda.
The Company's core business philosophy is the responsible investment of speculative funds in the petroleum sector. The strategy of the Company is to obtain early licence positions in frontier exploration areas with a focus on Africa, either directly or through joint venture arrangements to provide maximum value leverage on exploration success.
The acquisition of Jupiter Petroleum in August 2011 enables Global to participate in the prospective and active exploration province of offshore Namibia and position itself as an African focused oil and gas explorer.
